Ingredients

Pancake Batter (makes 7 cups):

  • 6 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt

Pancakes (makes 6 pancakes):

  • 1 cup pancake batter
  • 3/4 cup milk, or 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter, plus more for the pan
  • Two drops red food coloring
  • Blueberries (3 or 4 per pancake, add in while cooking)
  • Walnuts
  • Powdered sugar (topping)

Directions:

Put 1 cup of pancake batter into a mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, combine milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Beat well Continue whisking the milk while you pour in the melted butter. Pour the egg mixture in the pancake batter and blend to your liking.

Get you a large non-stick pan and set it on medium heat. Add a tablespoon of butter and once the pan is hot the butter will melt, then and only then will you add your batter in (make your cakes the size you want) I made mines medium size.

Once you have your pancake batter cooking add a few blueberries 3 or 4 is fine. (Use whatever fruit you like)

When the bubbles form, flip your pancakes and let the other side cook a minute or two. I usually cook two pancakes at a time, you want the flipping room.

Repeat until all your pancakes are done.

Once pancakes are finished cooking top them with blueberries, strawberries, walnuts, and powdered sugar, that’s how I did mines.

* We had bacon and eggs as well I just didn’t add them in my picture.

* If this is an all adult show you can make Strawberry Moscato floats all you need is Strawberry Moscato by Andre and vanilla bean ice cream. (Picture below)

CiCi: Baby on board! Ciara announced Thursday that’s she’s pregnant with her third child. I’m so happy for her and Russell, anytime a life is created is absolutely a blessing.

Google: I’m totally in love with Google’s black history month commercial they hit the ball out the park with this one. In case you haven’t seen the video click the link below.

Coco- Whip Mask Review

Over the weekend, I had a chance to finally try this face mask. Now, I usually don’t do face masks because I don’t want to break out, but the real coconut pieces sold me into buying it, that and the awesome price point of six dollars. It usually sells for fourteen dollars a jar.

I love that this mask has real coconut in it (Excuse the big chunks hanging by my nose lol) that’s one of the things that caught my eye was the coconut pieces. It also has coconut oil in it which is one of the natures most powerful ingredients. Coconut Oil has so much fatty acid, that it is great for moisturizing your skin and making it completely soft.

I put this on twenty mins before bed and about five minutes after applying the mask my face began to itch a little. I didn’t know if that’s what it was supposed to do or not, but I kept it on and fifteen minutes afterward I blotched it off and then rinsed my face.

Once my face was dry it did feel really soft and smooth. Overall I would give it a nine out of ten only because of the itchy feeling I received while wearing the mask. I haven’t broken out, but I just didn’t like the slight itchy feel.

Would I buy this product again probably so not at the original price, but definitely on sale yes. I hope you all enjoyed my honest review. If you all have any questions about this product email me or hit me on my social media pages.

                 Until next time Koko!

Like a Boss movie review.

This past weekend I treated myself to the like a boss movie premiere. It was nice to get out of the house no kids, no boyfriend just me.

I was pumped to see Rose Byrne and Tiffany Haddish do a comedy movie together. I adore them both they have really good chemistry together.

Below, I’m going to share what I liked and didn’t like about the movie and in the end, I’m gonna give you a starred review between 1-5 of my overall liking of the Like a Boss.

What I liked…

  • I loved that it had 3 strong female characters that I adore in it.
  • It shows friendship in one of the best lights.
  • Rose Byrne doing a comedy movie
  • Loved the ending which I’m not gonna spoil.

It showcased how big industries corporations can get over on small business especially if you don’t know the ins and outs of a business.

What I didn’t like…

  • It was pretty short compared to some movies it was an hour and twenty-three minutes. They rushed the plot or it would have been way better.
  • Salma Hayek, I hated her role in this movie she was a mean bitch.

Overall I would say check it out if you have the money, if not it can wait. My rating between 1-5 stars would be ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ (3) out of 5.

What makes you a boss????

Me, I work hard every day at my day job and my blog, I hope you all enjoyed this review. Comment below and tell me what makes you a boss.

Until next time ~koko~

Friday Mood (first of 2020)

2020 is here in full swing and it’s like 70 degrees in January wtf. Nonetheless, I am grateful to be alive and see a new year and a new day.

Here are five things that had me in a mood this week……

Australia Fires: This is just devastating not only are thousands of people’s homes burned to the ground, but about a billion animals have died from the fires. Some species are in great danger of being extinct. Don’t even get me started on the pollution of the air we all breathe here on earth. It affects us all one way or another. 🔥 🔥 🔥

Bare Mineral: This foundation I have been using is heaven on earth. It’s not dry you don’t need a lot to do a full face 😍 I use cocoa for my skin. If you like make- up to try this brand.

Like A Boss Movie: The movie premiered Wednesday but I can’t check it out until this weekend. Hopefully, I can get one of my girls to go with me.

Come Thru Video: Summer Walker has another hit on her hands. Not only did she recreate a classic song by USHER but she made it fit her brand. The song has been stuck on my mind all week.

Harry and Meghan: Wednesday, shit hit the fan the Dutch and Duchess of Sussex have decided to step down from royal duties. Now y’all know I’m not a royal expert but I don’t blame them one bit Meghan has been treated bad by the media since she has been engaged to Harry.

What’s one thing that had you in a mood his week??? Share below!

Until next time ~koko~

National Soup Month

Did you know that January was national soup month? I didn’t, but I see why. Lots of people are sick with the cold and flu this time of year. I Know when I’m sick a good bowl of soup always helps to nourish me back to health and it’s like the easiest thing to get down a sore throat.

Below I listed a few soups I enjoy either when I’m sick or just on those cold winter days when I want some comforting food.

Chicken Noodle: It’s a classic who doesn’t love shredded pieces of chicken and thick egg noodles.

Beef Stroganoff: I fell in love with this soup the first time I had it at the hospital beef and egg noodles smothered in that savory sauce yum.

Vegetable Beef: Hearty chunks of beef surrounded by lots of yummy veggies in a tomato broth, I make a pretty good one version.

Corn Chowder: Corn is one of my favorite veggies I eat it on a regular basis, mix it in with some chowder and I’m sold. Panera Bread has an amazing summer corn chowder.

Strawberry Soup: I was first introduced to this soup on my first cruise last year it tastes just like strawberries. Definitely worth a try.

Broccoli and Cheddar: Another soup that I eat on a regular. I love broccoli and cheese so it is only right.

Minestrone: This all vegetarian dish is amazing I can eat two big bowls full especially the Olive Garden version.

If you haven’t tried any of these soups try one in 2020 I’m sure you will enjoy any of them.

Until next time ~koko~

Life In General: I’m just grateful to be alive as a lot of people have died over the holidays which is always sad news to hear about.

Mom got Engaged: Y’all my mom is engaged I knew she would be but didn’t know it was gonna happen so soon or on Christmas Day. Looks like we have a wedding to plan.
