Caramel Apple Cider LIIT

Thanksgiving is next week I’m sharing what I’ve been sipping on for the past week or so, just in case you want to make some for your family or friends. Now, this isn’t your typical Long Island, but it tastes quite delicious. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Ingredients:

Shaker

Two paper bowls for dipping the rim of the glass

High ball glass

1 cup of ice

1/4 of a honey crisp apple (thinly sliced)

4 squirts caramel topping

1/2 cup Apple Cider (plus extra for dipping the rim)

1 Cinnamon stick

Cinnamon sugar (for the rim)

1/2 cup Chi- Chi’s Long Island Iced Tea

Directions:

1. Grab your glass and dip the rim inside the Apple Cider

2. Dip the rim of the glass in the cinnamon sugar

3. Line the inside of the glass with caramel. (Don’t overdo it)

4. Add Apple slices to the glass

5. Add ice on top of apple slices

Meanwhile…

6. In a shaker mix 1/2 cup of chi chis with 4 drops of caramel and shake it for 30 seconds.

7. Strain the caramel litt mixture over the high ball glass. (Careful not to mess the rim up)

8. Fill the remainder of the glass up with Apple Cider

9. Top with an apple slice and cinnamon stick, enjoy.

Quick tip: You can vary to 1/4 cup of chi-chi’s if it’s to strong. And if you don’t like much caramel you don’t have to do that much or any at all make this to your liking.

This literally is fall in a cup. If you follow all my directions you should get sips of a caramel apple with bits of cinnamon all wrapped up into one. This definitely will be on my list of fall holiday drinks and I can’t wait to serve it to my family next Thursday.

Please drink responsibly these are very smooth and will sneak up on you quick.

Until next time -KoKo-
